It is believed that the creation of petroglyph was done by using a sharp pointed flint. The flint was held against the rock surface and struck sharply with a heavier stone to create small dents one at a time.
This page contains birds on heads and the turtle symbol. Some believe that the figures with birds above their heads are of a cacike or shaman.
